 8\, the Hotel del Coronado is a rare and iconic example of a Queen Anne Vi
 ctorian seaside resort—and one of the largest wooden structures in the U
 .S. In this visually rich presentation\, preservation architect David Mars
 hall\, AIA\, shares highlights from the recently completed $160 million re
 habilitation\, the most significant restoration in the hotel's history. Th
 rough dozens of striking before-and-after photos\, attendees will learn ho
 w missing historic elements were meticulously replicated\, inappropriate a
 lterations removed\, and modern upgrades—from ADA access to mechanical s
 ystems—seamlessly integrated. This comprehensive project offers valuable
  insights into large-scale preservation\, design decision-making\, and res
