• California Office of Historic Preservation
  Responsible for the administration of federally and state mandated historic preservation programs to further the identification, evaluation, registration and protection of California's irreplaceable archaeological and historical resources.
• California Main Street Program
  Helps revitalize historic downtowns using the cooperative Main Street Approach.
• California Historical Building Safety Board
  Established within the Office of the State Architect, the Board adopts rules and regulations pursuant to the State Historical Building Code and acts as a review body to state and local agencies with respect to interpretations, administration and enforcement.
