Wildfire Ready: First Steps to Protect Your Home
Please join CPF for an essential training session on practical first steps you can take now to protect your home from fire. Learn easy, low-cost actions to enhance wildfire safety for your home and surrounding property, including how to prepare for wildfire emergency alerts, create fire-resistant landscapes, and implement basic fire safety measures.
Led by Vincent Anderson, Fire Marshal, City of Redlands, this session will provide clear, actionable recommendations for homeowners, community members, and local organizations to prevent the spread of wildfires.
While this session won’t focus exclusively on historic buildings, we welcome your questions and concerns. You’ll have the opportunity to submit questions before, during, and after the program. Your input will help inform a follow-up handout, future sessions, or both. This is the first in a series of programs to raise awareness of wildfire risks and exploring practical strategies to help safeguard your home—including historic properties—from wildfire threats.
