This auction has been sold to Heather Marquard at $75.00 USD.

This fascinating photo book tracks the eight-decade journey of the Gingerbread House in Mt. Baldy, California. It is a tribute to artists, designers, and craftsmen who “chose to do things differently.”

Your winning bid on this book includes a hand-signed copy plus a 20-minute one-on-one virtual “Coffee with Mariah” segment, where you can chat about Mariah’s father’s work, the Gingerbread House, Mt. Baldy, COVID-19, anything you wish!

At the center of the book is the work of Daven Gray. Daven and his daughter, Mariah, began compiling the hundreds of images for this book in 2011. For Daven, not only a stonemason, but a Mt Baldy historian, this was a chance to forever record the story of The Gingerbread House, which altered the course of his life and brought him a lifetime of adventure. For Mariah, it was the opportunity to listen to stories about the good ol’ days — her favorite of all past times – and to document Daven‘s contribution to an ancient and beautiful art.
