Industrial Archaeology: Roads, Bridges, Manufacturing and More
Learn about Industrial Archaeology from preserving, interpreting and documenting historically significant industrial sites, structures, artifacts, and technology. Topics will explore how we begin to think about these resources when planning for surveys and developing historic contexts and how the multiple property documentation approach can help the process with both transportation and manufacturing resources. The session will also address project specific surveys and review and the challenges of balancing preservation standards with the need for change, replacement and continued use.
