Historical Archaeologist
Position Description
HISTORICAL ARCHAEOLOGIST
Locations: Any Æ office
Applied EarthWorks, Inc. has immediate openings for Historical Archaeologists. These are regular, full-time positions at the Associate and Senior levels. Ongoing projects are located throughout central and southern California.
Pay Range: $29 – $44/hour
Duties:
The successful candidate will assist the Historical Archaeology Program Manager and other office managers in development and implementation of project research designs and treatment plans; supervising field and laboratory staff; technical report writing; maintaining project schedules and budgets; and proposal preparation.
Candidates should have experience directing investigations at historic period sites in urban environments and experience in analysis of historical materials. Proven ability to manage multiple projects is highly desired.
